Marion Wieboldt: That you find no meaning in art is a reflection on you, not on art.Is what you see in the mirror meaningless? I doubt it. You are your own creation, and as such you are an artist. Hopefully, you create more meaning fo! r your own life because by ascribing none to the life's work of others is a rather grim mindset.Try some Yoga or maybe take up walking. You might find a less grim outlook will develop.

Romeo Tinnea: This is a horribly horribly SAD question to me. You really need help I could write an endless essay explaining why art is important. But in short, art is a beautiful way of expressing yourself and I use it sometimes when I am angry to calm down, or when I am happy, like a journal. It's exciting and fun and gorgeous to look at. I just don't understand how you don't get it. Sorry.
