Barrett Felicia: The easy answer is no..because dna involves ALL his ancestry..AND it isn't going to tell you which person(s) have anything specific. Let's just say.. it shows Native Amer. ancestry somewhere. The issue is that it could be from DAD'S side of the family..or your paternal side. It is far too broad to zoom in on your gr grandfather. Waste of your money. I'm guessing that you are "stuck" on learning about grandma's father, in specifics. If she was adopted, out of wedlock,so forth..you have no route to go. If you do have his name and any details (ie he died in 1934 in Alabama), then we can go over sources and such to identify his ancestry by details. You need to post that question, focusing on HIM and give us enough to get a handle on him.
