Cliff Tyre: By no means an official definition, but in my opinion:Psychology; study of the human/animal mind both on an individual and group level and what 'makes it tick'.Philosophy; study of the 'big questions' e.g. nature of reality, philosophy of religion, what is truth/justice etc.Similarities: To me, they share similarities like the nature of free will, consciousness and perhaps morality. Both disciplines could be used to look at these issues. Differences: Psychology to me is more scientific, whereas philosophy is more a humanities/art subject (although I know others will have completely different views here; like saying they are vice versa)Hope I helped :)...Show more
