Cleaning Emerald and Diamond Jewelry?

Caterina Yeargan: get a small pot and add dishwashing liquid. Dilute it slightly with water, and then turn the heat on. Place jewelry in the pot and bring to a boil. Let the jewelry boil for a bit, then remove. Brush the jewelry with an old toothbrush. The jewelry will shine as bright as ever.

Chanda Wittwer: I soak my in vinegar,rinse them then drop them in rubbing alcohol for about a minute,rinse them again and set them on a towel to dry

Ivan Velazquez: If the jewlery has both stones in it you cannot clean with a sonic cleaner , If you wash them in light soap and water. the emeralds will need to be reoiled after that is how they keep their shine.
