Why don't car manufactures make cars that look like they cost a hundred thousand or more but cost less?

Mitsuko Manne: The Hyundai Genesis looks like it cost more than it is. Think the old Acura NSX is like that too. Looks like a supercar with a V6 and Accord interior. It was Okay, but a lot a people does not consider it as an exotic car, because of those factors.Think cars like Maxima or M37 fits too. You just got spoiled by modern advances. Tyree Allenbrand: It wouldn't be practical, plus it would just be a fake car. Exotic cars look a certain way not because of looks; but the technology instilled in the vehicle for performance. Plus, it would cost more to make cars visually stunning, thus, raising the price and nullifying the effect quite a bit.

Brock Hladik: Because the market for that kind of thing is very small, and it's really a matter of opinion over what looks "expensive" and what doesn't. Some people have no interest in driving a show-offy kind of car.
