How do Democrats get fooled into thinking that their party will protect them from corporations?

Dionna Doyel: Democrats aren't fooled. But track records show that the Democrats will consistently introduce bills and vote for bills that help the people as opposed to the GOP who have consistently voted in favor of big corporations.

Majorie Chester: No idea. Both parties are completely owned by big business, the banks and big pharma.

Melissa Lavallie: You make a great point. The Democratic Party, the so-called "Party of the People" is every bit as corporate as the Republicans are: in other words, they answer to the lobbyists / corporate interests that pay them to represent their special interests- same as Republicans. I think people in general, both Republicans and Dems, hope that someone from their party will emerge as their protector in one form or another, that the system isn't totally compromised.
