I think I saw a military aircraft tonight...or a UFO?

Sharri Scalley: I do not know what you saw. But last night during the firework display I saw a weird aircraft cruising across the night sky and was slighty pinkish orange in color, was fairly close. The light was the whole thing and it was kind of an irregular oval shape. I couldn't decide whether to watch it or the firework display. I decided to watch it. I have no idea WTF it was. It made no noise. I am in mid Missouri. It happened around 9:45 PM

Len Dalba: this is really common around coast or big lakes.. the coast guard is trying out a new piece of equipment that looks really wierd and it is for dropping certain thing on oil fires in the ocean or another big body of water.. there is a chance it could have been a ufo.. i certanly believeb/c of all the stuff my officer told me in the coast guardBut the equipment the coast guard is working on isnt square.. its more of an off square shape.. kinda like a triangleresembles the "bomber" but doesnt do harm...Show more

Colby Millberg: It's probably a figment of your imagination. It could have possibly been a Stealth Bomber, which is triangular in shape, but sounds similar to what you're talking about.

Esteban Lyson: Sometimes a UFO and military aircraft are one in the same.Sometimes our brains tell us things that are not true in order to fill in gaps.! You see our brain doesn't like not knowing things, so it sta! rts to compensate by assuming what it doesn't know, filling in the gaps as needed. Therefore this causes some people to see things inaccurately. This does not explain all supposed UFO sightings, but I bet a lot of them can be explained this way....Show more
