does a ds come with a game card?

Sheldon Lally: ok your misinterpreting what a DS can download. it is only temporarly. the game doesnt hold data on the newly downloaded games.

Coy Tapley: I'm sorry to report that the DS & the DS Lite DO NOT COME WITH ANY GAMES NOR A GAME CARD!Games must be purchased separately.The DS / Lite can download game demos & multiplayer game data from another DS. The game must have "Download Play" support so the host DS can broadcast it to anybody who is interested in playing. This is also called "Single-Pack Multiplayer".The game demos & multiplayer support are only stored on the DS TEMPORARILY! The data will be lost when the DS is turned off. Additionally, the Single-Pack Multiplayer games require the host to keep playing. If the host leaves, the multiplayer data because useless for everybody else.There are specialty cards with allow you to store games on a single card, BUT THEY'RE ILLEGAL DUE TO COPYRIGHT LAW....Show more
